Instructions
for Printing Online Documents
The
art of printing documents sourced from the Internet is
not precise; in fact, it is totally browser-dependent! What
prints beautifully on one browser will look dissimilar on
another browser. As an example, an image used as a background
for a table prints properly, appearing behind the whole table
in Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, while for some reason
known only to Netscape, the image tries to fit itself into
each cell of a table in Netscape 4.0 - even though there is
a cell background command which is designed for that purpose.
This is the main reason why we recommend IE4 as the browser
of choice for printing documents...Netscape is iffy!
