Leslie and I have just returned from a village up country near the town of Korat. We shared in the incredible experience of bringing these Thai villagers their first Christmas celebration. It was a time that neither of us will ever forget.

We went up there hoping to have an audience of ten or twenty people, but in just two days we got to meet with, testify to, and worship with over 165 people. Of the seventy five adults who attended our make shift Sunday service, seven stepped forward and made the commitment to follow Christ.

There have been times where both Leslie and I have questioned our 'effectiveness' here, but after a weekend like this, we are so fired-up to stay here for another year and build on experiences such as this. On the long ride home today, we discussed our follow up visit to this village with our Pastor. He would like us to spend a week next time and begin to teach the children some English. The long term goal would be to plant a church there. A Christmas we will always remember!

Hi Friends! Leslie & I just got back from the Bangkok Marathon, where after shaking off the effects of a 3:30 A.M. start time, I managed to finish the run. I just had to share the news with a few of you, so that I don't drive Leslie crazy today with a second by second account of the whole race. I thank God for my health & my father (who managed to finish 2 marathons) for inspiring more than he will ever know. Kevin
