Thanks so much for the coolest web site a pair of yinzers
could ever have! Leslie sent a few pics. with the rest coming
your way on Monday. Thank you again. We've begun to really
spread the word back home re: your web site. Any way to see
if people have been scoping it out? We are swamped with school
work but as soon as we get a break we will fill you in on
the details. You would love it here, hot, friendly people,

Here
are a few pictures of our students. My first graders and Kevin's
4th grade class. We are off to a church retreat for the long
weekend. (Monday is a holiday.)

Deena,
I may
try to send you some pics. from the retreat we just went on
with our church. 4 days up in the mountains somewhere 3 hours
east of Bangkok.
We are
absolutely crushed with school work & have little time
now for anything else. Teaching is such hard work, especially
if you are new to it all, which we are.
Summer
school ends in May & I will be sure to send details then
of what we are up to.

Deena,
Hi !
A few
pictures from our church retreat last weekend. Many of our
church friends from back home have commented that the site
is great, and so I am sending you some pictures that would
interest them.
We had
a blast. The Thai Christians pray hard and play hard.
The games we played were rough and tumble! One team locked
arms in front of their goal and my team was told to run through
them & score. I thought they were kidding but my teammates
put their heads down and ran at them like bulls!! CRAZY! After
4 days of worship and games many of us were limping around.
This weekend
starts the Songkran holiday. We are off on Monday-Thursday
and will be going up country to the 'true' Thailand. We will
take the camera and hope to have many interesting pictures!!
Songkran
is the celebrates the start of the rainy season. Everyone
throws buckets of water on everyone. Complete strangers
run up to you and dump water on your head. We were warned
that we won't be able to walk to school and remain dry! We
will also send you pictures of the Songkran madness. Thanks
for all of your work!!
